My writing - My armor!

Post by WIREMAN » November 25th, 2005, 12:30 pm

.......i'm getting pierced by slings and arrows on a constant basis, the scenes and extremes are endless, full of starts and stops with a few stutter steps thrown in....i find that these sometimes life crunching events i have so far survived, give me strength and peace of mind, because of the ability to write it out, it's a writers saving grace........what do you think :?:

...or curse?

What happens when the ability departs for a period, though? Does one write poorly or try another tack? I envy those who don't have this problem.

I started sporadic journal-entries in 2000, mostly short travel notes. After Sept. 11th, 2001, I often wrote in 'self-defense'.... trying for perspective in a world given license for new and greater extremism all around. I'm still at it, I suppose.

i've written through all the times and eased a whole lotta pain by learning to understand it better......o the situations that develop from the actions and chances i decide to take....writing about em is the best way to respond to them.....
