Hydro carbon man bounds across the earth,
With giant carbon bootprints, tank treads.
The sand vampires drool their inky worth,
Suck carbon fixes of the un-dead.

Hydro carbon haze returns to its roots,
As fine toxic buzz wafts over the derricks.
Grasshopper pumps will grind and produce,
like good Christian pistons of ethics.

Hydro carbon candidate counts his votes,
parks his Hummer and M-1 Abrams inside.
I ask him for his energy plan notes,
and he tries to take me for a ride.
