Revelation 66:6

Post by YABYUM » October 10th, 2004, 1:03 pm

bonjour! I hope this letter finds everyone in a mellow mood. Montreal is the most fantastic city have ever been to. Its so fucking clean. I can be chillin out on a mountain top at 1:15 and by 1:30 I can be surrounded by inner city ghetto. The women around here wear some of the ugliest shoes I have ever seen. I picked strawberries for two weeks with dozens of french speaking mexican ladies out in a feild somewhere in Saint Anne Des Plaines.
They couldn't speak my language, nor I, theirs. They didnt care that I smoked joints out in the field and a few of them would giggle when they passed me while trying to get me to look at them so that they could point at their eyes and then at mine. I think they were telling me that I had nightmares in my eyes. Currently I am working for a Mason named Mike who likes to spend time with call girls after a days work. He tells me that this is the way to keep his relationship healthy with his wife. (as long as she doesnt know)
Other then his views on women and sex, Mike is a very good person. I like doing brick work, especially in a city like this. Its also comforting to know that every brick I lay and every ounce of concrete I pour is going to be part of this city for years upon years.
The subway up here (metro) is so fucking clean and organized I almost cannot make sense out of it perfect rotation and accurate timetables. I f only there were an ocean, this would become home.
I havent got a lot of time, but I always like to catch up with everyone and read a few poems and stories and all the general communications that pass between all you fucking poets, philosophers, and wordsmiths. I am so glad that Clay and Doreen have erected this site. Its weird, but I like logging on and catching up with a bunch of peoples lives that never really intersect mine in the physical realm.
I have to go now, but I would like to sya that I hope eveyone is well and that If there any studio eighters that live in the Montreal area, drop me an e mail at beatniksurfer@msn.com.
take it easy ya'll.

good to hear your voice Yabyum and only.

Watch what happens to Montreal ladies when they walk through those wind tunnels downtown. Just hang on to something rooted deep in the ground and while the winds tear you limb from limb, just watch those Montreal ladies.

Will their high styled hair weather the storm? Will their ugly shoes totter their high heeled steps.
Will their designer coats open or suggest outer tornado circumstance?

Just watch
