Faulkner, The wild palms

Post by Arcadia » April 14th, 2006, 7:41 pm

Las palmeras salvajes in a Borges translation. A 1951 Sudamericana edition encuadernada for someone named Miranda in 1964. A flowing reading thanks Borges (I tried some years ago Sound and Fury in an Spanish from Spain translation and it was imposible).
Great book, it reminded me somehow (only somehow) Conrad. Maybe Quiroga, too.

I finished the last three chapters in the last days. Yeah, I like the book.
