I know you have a ton of header images and I thought you might want rotate the image per page load, or time period? I already have a couple of rotator scripts I've written for other phpBB users and I can always edit one to suit your needs. There not to hard to install either, you just have to change the top_image.jpg to point to top_image.php, and for the images you just have to write the ones you want into a file, or store them in a folder(which ever one you want, although the first one is quicker).

Hi there! Good to see you here! Thanks for stopping by and for your kind words about the site.

I was thinking of adding a rotating script for the banners but the thing is, I definitely wouldn't want people looking at a different banner than each other at the same time. I donno if I said that right. lol

What I mean is, the banners are sorta personal... they create an atmosphere for the day. And I create new ones from the art and photography of members as they post their images so I think of them as creating an experience we can share. People who come here often talk about the new banners as they are posted.

This script might work great if it could change only once every 24 hours, but I'm not sure because it would select the banners arbitrarily, and I'm not sure that's what we want.

What I DO need is help with upgrading the site. We are inundated with bots registering. There's no visual confirmation in the registration process. I've tried 2 times to do it and have screwed it up so badly, the host had to restore the site from back-up both times and they told me next time, if it happens again, it will cost me.... dearly. Sighhhh...

I'm such a non-techie.

Would you be interested in helping us upgrade? Aww shucks, you just came here to offer your script not to get a non-paying job! LOL! Well, I asked anyway but I understand you probably didn't expect me to try to recruit you. (that said, don't be shy in offering your help! hahahah)

I guess it wouldn't exactly be a rotating script, but I could make go down a list of images, one image per day... ?

As for updating your site, I could do it, but I'm probably not the best person for the job. I haven't run a phpBB site for a while, I'm more into developing my own apps; instead, I'd reccomend you find someone off of mike's site like IGGY. If, however, you can't find anyone hit me up and I"ll do it for you.

Edit: oh and I don't know if you ever noticed it but you can change the little m icon if you want.(in I.E. it appears in the bookmark list after you bookmark your page, or in Firefox it appears on each page tab)
