~Late Night Jam!

Post by WIREMAN » June 4th, 2006, 10:49 pm

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I see that plane
flying above
endless waves
of sand & I awaken,
there is a need
to interact, to
mix words in a
united voice of
poetry,
a voice screams out
in the night, much
more than a howl,
the air cools and my
thoughts turn to
immersion in soothing
aquatic bliss.......................
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....
my aquatic bliss
runs out with the tumbleweed
hot wind from the east
mediterranean hisses over Gaza
the voices of peacocks screech
no more spring green
may blooms succumb to dry
i reach for wet, my mind needs lake
take me in this pre-dawn canoe
towards waterfalls of no return
let me return to water-logged days
out of the water
visions of Merton
in India land of
the sadhu, the time
for rest is at hand,
if only for a few
hours of dreaming
reverie..............
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....
After a storm there must be a calming
Up in the morning my throat raw
From early morning jam
Monday morning commuters blues
Moving throuh my little shack by the railroad tracks
Traffic reports make me smile
The more screwed up things are
The more cheerful I am
Working at home is sweet
My longest commute is about twenty feet.
I used to be smart
