My Clock Is All Screwed Up


It's now Standard Time

Daylight is gone

I'm disoriented

The computer knows how to change the time

but the clock on my desk is still an hour ahead

I can't figure out how to change it

why isn't Sixty Minutes on yet?

oh, it's not the time change, it's the football game that is delaying it.

It's seven twenty and my clock says eight-twenty and it's just

a matter of Sixty Minutes, I know, but

Where is my Sixty Minutes?

How can a fifteen minute quarter of a football game last two hours?

sure there are commercials and time-outs and penalties

and they stop the clock for the two-minute warning

is that two minutes Daylight Savings or Standard?

who knows

I got up too early this morning
