Sad, sad. I never liked the higher academic structure, and tried not to become part of it. Consequently, I never "advanced" up the ladder by design.
So here I sit, retired on 28 percent of my salary after 33 years.
But if you become a Dean or some other kind of oil-fingered "facilitator",
here's something you might be asked to "help out with" . . .
