what i am going to write, or say- if it will a poem
or a story that sort of comes out this way
tonight i am crammed full of words
and all of them seem redundant and absurd
split it, leave it the way it is
sometimes writing is alot like show biz
lots of decisons and no real time to see
what will end up on the cutting room floor

i relate to those words... easily. but my cutting room floor is quite clear of any unwanted clutter, only because whatever drools from my fingertips usually remains a reflection of that moment, like a figure within the clouds in constant movement, never there again.
