George Carlin - Modern Man - performance poetry

Post by Doreen Peri » May 6th, 2007, 8:24 pm

I was going to put this in the spoken word forum but that forum doesn't get viewed much so I thought this would be a more likely place to get seen since George Carlin usually does poetry. This is humorous, sure, but more than that, it's really great performance poetry!

It is a good one, a brilliant one but the one I saw was about building a pyramyd of people on the bottom layer would be the depressed, than I think convicts were another, and a lot of it was about the educational system in the united states creating worker bots. Does that ring any bells?

I only saw it once and my short term memory is kaput. But ask me what I had for lunch on May Eight 1948 and I could tell you.

I could kick myself for screwing up the post. Then I got frustrated and deleted it. :(

but thanks for trying, I will run into it again sooner or later.
