It Slings the Bawdy Selectric!

Post by Totenkopf » May 10th, 2007, 7:04 pm

He SLINGS the Bawdy Selectric;
The armies of those keys engirth him, and he engirths them;
They will not let him off till he smashes them in, responds to them,
And discorrupt them, and charge them full with the charge of some Stoli and cheap coke. (etc. etc. etc.)

INCOMPOSSIBLE, adj. Unable to exist if something else exists. Two things are incompossible when the world of being has scope enough for one of them, but not enough for both – as Walt Whitman's poetry and God's mercy to man.
(A. Bierce)

UNDERSTANDING, n.
A cerebral secretion that enables one having it to know a house from a horse by the roof on the house. Its nature and laws have been exhaustively expounded by Locke, who rode a house, and Kant, who lived in a horse.

Heh heh. Master Bierce was not too keen about philosophy, apparently--or many other thangs.
PHILOSOPHY, n. A route of many roads leading from nowhere to nothing.
