Well, it was October, 1953…
I think the file cabinets were melted into a Titan missile or something.
What about the minutes?
I think Carter burned them to heat the Oval Office,
maybe 1977… all part of his Commie conservation thing.

We reconvene to inspect the doings of nefarious elements among us

This reminded of the O'Reilly interview with Richard Dawkins. O'Reilly's speech on "subjective truth" stayed with me. Dawkins was, I think, simply "struck dumb" at that point.
