I should mention why I'm blues, this is a kicker
it is bouncing me around for weeks,
the blues' blues, those kind.

He's not gonna meet me in St. Louie.

I got the sad eye sighing simple-blues.

I did some shopping and bought leg warmers today,
it was my girl child getting the I wants,
all goes on inside my head,
buy her what she wants, they're two bucks
and at least one of us is smiling.

The Death of Myth-Making
by Sylvia Plath-Hughes

Two virtues ride, by stallion, by nag,
To grind our knives and scissors:
Lantern-jawed Reason, squat Common Sense,
One courting doctors of all sorts,
One, housewives and shopkeepers.

The trees are lopped, the poodles trim,
The laborer's nails pared level
Since those two civil servants set
Their whetstone to the blunted edge
And minced the muddling devil

Whose owl-eyes in the scraggly wood
Scared mothers to miscarry,
Drove the dogs to cringe and whine
And turned the farmboy's temper wolfish,
The housewife's, desultory.

It's like watching a movie comin' in past the beginning so ya can't quite understand but it has caught your interest so lingering you watch in hope to be not aimlessly passing by.

There it is. Trying to make sense of the world coming in at me in these text boxes, Spent the morning listening to music and reading poetry and not make no money to keep the dire wolfe from my door. I got a internet addiction almost out of control, my little garden here, my oasis of meaning in a crazy world here in the house of the puppet masters. Dream the impossible dream, the unmediated man they say, pulling my own strings.
I passed by Plath, Neruda, Pound and Vonnegut this morning
like Billy Pilgrim I am unstuck in time
unstuck in my own consciousness
popping in and out of parallel universes
and missing bits falling into place
I have become a Bokononist in my latter days
A quantum mystic
and a true believer in the infinite goof.
'There are three things that I like,' Amanda exclaimed upon awakening from her first long trance. 'These are: the butterfly, the cactus and the Infinite Goof ...
So tell
me where I am that you don’t also dwell?

What hell am I going to do about these dam hand puppets, I would be better off choking my chicken.

Jesus H Christ I even lost interest in that. All I need now are tiny little red ballerina slippers to put on the end of my fingers as I let them jitterbug across these keys.

better off if these keys were on a piano

hopeless addiction

I need to get my a$$ out of this chair or if I am going to waste a beautiful day in here I ought to be using this keyboard to make some money at my day job.

thanks for reading you lazy son of a bitch.

I think what I need is a hand cranked computer. Or hook a generator to my exercise bike and pedal my way down the boulevard.

one half mile equals one text box of 500 words?

Who is with me wherever I go.
Jesus, sure where could I go where he was not also
I think about the old woman on her death bed
At peace with her G d
Wanted an Orthodox funeral
Not so much for the dogma as for the inexpensive plain wood box.
She was always thinking of her favorite son.
They had such a bond my brother and mother.

I have not made peace with that G d of her mothers and fathers before her.
But I am at peace with his mother.

mom
she always meant well
nobody is perfect except for the Son of G d I have heard. But theology is not my long suite. I don't have any suites. I am a busted flush.

I watch him with his daughter and I think
should he get a vasectomy.

Drove home in the snow again.
Been one flat out winter - if ya want to know what time it is ask a bonobo.
Got the last dream in the latest flurry cleared from the boards this morning.
Someone won't make peace with the past now being hunted by lions. Can you say Holy Babylon & the Great Goose Mother?
Drove home in the snow again. Seems that's all I can do this winter. The twitchies better get their darling heads out of their darling butts & quit whining 'bout global warming... excuse me, "climate change" and get ready for an ice age. there ain't nothin' can be done about the warming anyways - 2 damn late. The polar bears may not make it all the way to Texas but I certainly expect them here in the Great State of Yew Nork. At least ice sheets clean everything up pretty good and leave nothing but huge boulders and piles of gravel all over the place.

Unusual weather
I just don't what to believe anymore
Maybe the world is flat
Magellan was wrong and the pope right

All I did for twenty years is drive in winter weather, up in God's country, the far northwest.

I could not survive another yankee winter. My hands so dry and chapped the cracks so deep and girmmed out. Yeah Pauncho was right, the road will turn your skin to kerosene.

In the meantime I am watching snips and bits on cable TV when I walk through the living room on my way to the kitchen.

Show on one of the psuedo-factoid documentary channels say the soviet union and the united states account for all the thermo nuclear weapons in the world except for 200 of them. 200? when was the last time they counted? Israel has said to have more than that alone.

My expectations are not what they were, I am just hoping it won't be a nuclear winter.

Boy I got to jump on the old generator/bicycle and make some electricity. that would be so sweet burn some calories, and cathexis of literary tensions.

The electric has gone off three times so far this morning
rolling black outs

sitting in the cold dark with a candle this early morning talking with my sister. it was nice as we tried to imagine who had it worse. It cheered us up somehow.

and get ready for an ice age.
Not saying it ain't true
I think it will scramble the weather, a couple a million years ago or maybe longer the artic was not a frozen wasteland.

deserts could be lakes, isalnds disapear, temperate climates become more artic

not sure how the twitches can get ready for it, they tell me not to worry because the invisible hand that guides free markets is already working on a short term profitable fix.

Keep the shinny side up
I hope you got good tires.
