my fingers, flee or find another cure
for my impatience, lest I slip and slap
you silly, till you’re bruised— till all your crap
is dropped, exposed and silenced. You’re a bitch—
but no one’s ever gonna say it. Grapple
with truth of who you are and ditch
the false impression that you beautify
