If I had money to go to a bar,
I'd drink in the afternoon.
I'd become a lush and bar-superstar
and soon I'd turn into a loon!
I'd dance on the tables
and pick-up the men
and bring a few back to my crib.
If I had money to go to a bar,
I'd get up on stage and ad-lib!
I'd make up some poetry
straight from my heart
and blast it out loud from the mic.
The bouncers would try to kick me out
but I'd put up a helluva fight!
And then they'd be calling the local police
to drag me away to to the slammer.
I'd awake behind bars, be released with no car,
while my head pounded like a sledgehammer!
But boy, I'd have fun and when I was done
i'd go to the bar tomorrow.
If I had money to go to a bar, I would
but I don't....
got some cash I can borrow?

:D

John used to always say,
"I never let my monthly bar tab
exceed my quarterly mortgage payment."

Hahaha.... I miss my friend John.
Funny guy!

be it spooks or spaghetti
i'm gonna jam a silence
i'm gonna jam a stillness
a thought of freak hobos
flashes across my mind
that means something has happened
something has changed
and i can move on now
mingo out -

Ha! on that score we reach, brother !
and you're dead right
of the haven we have here
was talking to doreen about how
just a couple people get to be screwjacks
to their heart's content
most sites like that -
was talking to her if she ever
saw a site where no comments allowed on the forum itself
but the poets could pm each other for their comments
that way the forum stays clean -
studio8 a standout because of the people here
everywhere else i've been- not
i'm still workin my way with the Saxman
ain't had much time to read
just at night when i get to bed
and i get to read only ten minutes or so before
my eyes close & the Kindle falls face down
on my chest
funny thing though - while i read all these
words get to going in my head
jams pure & roaring
and if i'd get up
and grab a pen ...
so ...
now i got to have
something to eat myself ...

americans think they are
better than the rest
chinese know they are
they got the ages on us
when do u ever see them
expanding their borders?
us and the Brits, but the
Brits finally learned the
hard lesson, oh i guess
u could say Tibet
but they damn sure
leave mongolia alone
there it sits between russia
and china, a bastion of freedom
badass mongols, "leave them alone!"
all hail mongolia
all hail religious freedom
it now reigns in china
in fact contrary to what
our political machine taught us
it never disappeared
hermits in the mountains
stayed, left alone till this day
u cant even do that here in
the land of the free
hell the powers that be
will come and gobble u up
run u off with sticks and guns
what is a world with
no eccentrics?
let the han shan spirit reign
let the 1st words flow
form stifles stride
viva mongolia
may u sit there upon the
asian steppes like a jewel......forever!
me I feel like I'm becoming some kinda Kung fu t.v. Priest.....

let the 1st words flow
that's the way
get up get deep into it
even the Khan left the people
to their beliefs
nobody can ever leave anybody alone enough
it's been a ponder to me
my whole life

i remember your story
bout peddling fast
through town
dodging the abyss
what a relief
when u came thru
the other side

big faces
goddesses and authors
but big...BIG!!!

we are there, better cherish
all the time we have left
cold...hot....wet....snowy....
