longer & deeper

i can no longer imagine
the distance between now
& then
at this elevation snow stays
longer & deeper on the fields
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

With height comes great responsibility. And a longer tolerance to snow.

the difference, or perhaps even distance, between "there" and "here"

[which is a question of being "here now" as opposed to "there and "then']

is simply a "t"?
