Atonement, and Other Famous Busts of Man

Post by mnaz » August 26th, 2015, 6:39 pm

He drew primordial vapors together
to the big blast of careening cosmos,
the hurtling flicker of consciousness.
He, omnipotent, willed mountains.
He, omnipresent, staked infinity.
He, omniscient, made sinners.
Whither the atonement?

making sinners seems like a bad idea, doesn't it ?.....nicely crafted....simple, yet deep
If you do not change your direction
you may end up where you are heading

Yes, who/what atones the Creator for this deliberate act?

Of course, this is merely applying feeble, paltry human-type logic to bang on religious doctrine (the possibilities are endless). I think the idea is that there's "no other option" but good/evil, sin/no-sin as a result of physical creation. Still though, it's fun to kick the odd paradox around at times ...
