go take a long walk in the woods, then go home
roam around the property for a bit, check the
fireplace bricks and roof shingles, make sure
nothing’s loose, go back inside and make yourself
a fire, take your boots off, rock for a while in that
chair your wife used to love so much, then go
lie down and read a good book, ‘cause only fiction
can fix this shit, hon, only fiction can make any
sense of it.

No lie. I found a book about the Israel-Palestinian conflict in a long forgotten corner of my bookshelf, and I will read this book and try to educate myself. After the indoctrination of my Church, one of those Evangelical Churches that assumed Israel taking over of the Middle East would be just what the world needs for Jesus to come back.

For me I've had to alter my definitions of words like insanity, barbarism, depravity etc, etc, etc.

Understanding, and believing that those running the show are all profound liars without souls is helpful, because I don't need to make sense of anything....up is actually down.....high is actually too low even to define....an abyss of morality....the opposite is now true of all I found precious...

for instance....think of the prez as a character from Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.....Dr. Jekyll is obsessed with winning a nobel peace prize.....Mr. Hyde has already bombed 8 countries and rambles on about acquiring Canada, or Greenland or Cuba..
Dr. Jekyll has stated he wants to be known as the President of Peace, and had established an international Board of Peace....Mr. Hyde thinks Dr. Jekyll misspelled that organization....it was meant to be Bored of Peace

some humor can be helpful...we needn't feel the full brunt of this madness in real time every single day

I have faith that there are far more decent people on earth and they will win out as time elapses

Days may seem quite long now....but this will end up being a hiccup in the recorded history of humans
