hehe.... thanks, Zlatko... I'm giggling because "the threads and ropes of color that seem to be migrating toward the head" are *supposed* to be her hair. Her hair is supposed to be the entire background. hahahahaha
Damn... I'm not too good at this yet.... but I'm working on it... (until I decide to give up which may happen soon because I'm not sure this is my media).... I've discovered a few things. I need to designate a brush for every color. I'm using water with the acrylics. Some brushes hold more water and paint than others and you can't rinse it out quickly enough. I need to paint 2 or 3 paintings at a time because of the drying time necessary. I'm painting on the floor on top of newspapers. I have an easel but I'm way too sloppy for that. I need more space. I need a HUGE room for doing this work. Probably a warehouse. A room where I can splatter paint everywhere and it won't matter.

Plus, I need large... very large canvases. The Pink Maiden is something like 14 x 18.... I need canvases twice as large as this.

At least. Plus (and this is a big plus), I need 6 more hours tacked onto every day because if I'm going to do this, I need that much time every day to work on developing some semblance of skills.
I think I'm going to turn the one on the top into something else entirely.
Thanks for looking!
