Tibetan monks
Chanting open mystic mantra
Over blue trane realization
His golden sax blowing from deepest depth
Himself with lidded eyes

Notes drifting off, mantra too
Into the ether both in harmony
Incensed air thick in shrouded shrine
Saffron robes softly sitting
Bowls and bells ring

Emptiness in the open palm
The impermanent original mind
Gives nonattainment joy
Floating lotus flower opens
Svaha!!!

jazz mantra dissolving mind
incense flowing from the stick
