Carving

Post by the mingo » July 30th, 2008, 9:05 am

carving words
into the ground
into the bark
into the rain
into the milk
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.

like cereal drifting in a pool of milk
like a stick trailing over sand
like raindrops on a window pane
like leaves falling in my hand

SmileGRL - my hand holds as many chestnuts the time called years I've spent in this land - thx for reading & responding (kiss)

Odette - Your English is better than mine, I had to look the word "indelible" up. I thought I knew what it meant and I did, kind of, but there are many more shades to it than what I knew. thx for reading & responding. (kiss for you too)
Doll, you may have found a place of rest but I'm still on the trail.
